Hutton-le-Hole is a popular village within the North York Moors National Park where a community of traditional stone properties are grouped around wide open greens where sheep graze freely and a shallow moorland stream meanders through. Surrounded by excellent walking and riding country, the village lies just three miles north of the A170 giving quick and easy access to the local market towns of Kirkbymoorside, Pickering and Helmsley. The village is also within commuting distance of the north east, taking the most direct route along Blakey Ridge which passes through spectacular moorland scenery.

Moorside Cottage occupies a slightly elevated position on the right hand side as you drive into Hutton-le-Hole from the south and therefore has lovely views across the village and towards established woodland in the distance. With a wooden picket fence and an established wisteria growing across the front elevation, from the outside in this cottage really does ooze character. Internally there are beamed ceilings, a hand crafted kitchen with Aga, window seats and a wood burning stove in the sitting room. It has all the makings of a comfortable family home with two reception rooms, a garden room that doubles up as a study, three good size bedrooms on the first floor plus a large bathroom. Central heating is via an oil boiler and most of the double glazed sash windows have been renewed.

Beyond the cottage is a glorious, well stocked, level garden with stone wall boundaries and two timber framed sheds for storing tools, gardening equipment etc. A central lawn bordered by colourful flower beds and mature trees creates a beautiful and peaceful environment. A little walk from the cottage along the grass verge takes you to a single garage within a gated shared drive.
