Sitting Room with Open Fire
Gas Central Heating
Ground Floor Bathroom
uPVC Double Glazing
Known as Rye Cottage, this detached stone built property enjoys a fine position on the edge of the village with westerly views towards Helmsley across neighbouring farmland. The accommodation is arranged over two floors with the ground floor having two double bedrooms and a bathroom so in essence the property could be used like a 'true' bungalow if required, keeping the two first floor bedrooms and shower room for visiting friends and family or maybe use as a hobbies room and/or separate study. The kitchen will accommodate a dining table and has a nice outlook across the rear garden. The sitting room has a 'real' fire and has open views to the front. There are lots of useful spaces like a separate utility room off the kitchen, storage cupboard in the hall and plenty of eaves storage upstairs. Whilst the house is ready to move into, some fixtures and fittings would benefit from updating. There is gas central heating throughout and all windows are uPVC double glazed.
An attached garage adjoins the property on the southern elevation and there is plenty of parking on the drive in front. The gardens, front and back, are mainly down to lawn and are level making ongoing maintenance relatively easy. The property is ready for early occupation with no upward chain.
Services: Mains water, electricity and gas are connected. Gas central heating. Connection to mains drains. Telephone connection subject to the usual British Telecom regulations.
