Pickering is a thriving market town found at the foot of the North York Moors National Park, along the A170 Thirsk to Scarborough Road. As a result there are excellent links to the East Coast and City of York where the Intercity Service runs from London to Edinburgh. Pickering has a good range of shops, a Monday street market, well respected schools for all ages and amenities that include Doctors surgery, Dentist and library. There are also a wealth of recreational activities close to hand, such as Dalby Forest, The North York Moors Steam Train and Pickering Castle.

West Pasture lies on the southern side of the town and is a quiet cul-de-sac comprising a mixture of property types. No. 18 is a detached bungalow at the end of this cul-de-sac. The property provides surprisingly spacious, comfortable accommodation. A good sized conservatory to the South side has been a useful addition and benefits from the gas central heating system. The kitchen has a range of wall and base units with work surfaces that incorporate stainless
steal sink with mixer tap. A door leads through to a well proportioned sitting room with coal effect gas fire set in a stone fireplace. There are two bedrooms served by the house bathroom, both having considerable built in storage.

Outside the property there is drive parking and a single garage along with pleasant gardens to the front and rear. At the rear there is a useful hardstanding area ideal for sitting out. This overlooks the rear garden which is partly down to lawn with a number of established flowerbeds boasting a range of mature shrubs. To the centre of the garden is an impressive rockery with a mix of alpine plants.
