Thornton le Dale is a 'picture postcard' village within the North York Moors National Park at the foot of Dalby Forest.  From the property itself there are many beautiful walks around the village, along Beck Isle and through Ellerburn woods leading into Dalby Forest, popular for its mountain bike trails and splendid scenery.
