Gillamoor is a quiet, village situated approximately 3 miles north of Kirkbymoorside on the southern fringe of the North York Moors National Park. There is a reputable infant school, a church and village pub and the usual market town facilities are available in Kirkbymoorside, Helmsley and Pickering which are all within easy travelling distance. The nearest, Kirkbymoorside, is a popular market town offering a good range of local amenities including a junior school, doctors surgery, dentist, weekly street market and an 18 hole golf course. Kirkbymoorside lies along the A170 Thirsk to Scarborough road which gives easy access to other neighbouring towns and to the east coast. The city of York can be reached in just over three quarters of an hour.

Rannoch House is a detached, stone built property thought to have been constructed in the 1950's. It stands on an excellent plot on the Western edge of the village with a good sized, south facing garden that also overlooks its fenced paddock of just under 2 acres. There is a detached garage and fantastic workshop that subject to planning consent might even offer some potential to convert.

The accommodation of this light and spacious family home is over two floors with four bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs and an array of reception rooms to the ground floor. Rannoch House has recently had one of its adjoining garages converted into a 'family room' to complement its Snug with log burning stove, Kitchen with Aga, separate breakfast room and a tremendous sitting room ideally suited for entertaining with double doors opening onto the south facing patio and timber faced veranda.
